If you wish to apply to SzeMUN 2012, you need to fill out an application form and send it to info@szemun.eu. 

Remember to send your application as soon as possible, at the latest by the 29th of February. 

Which application form to download? 

If you wish to participate as a delegate, you need to fill out the "Application form for delegates". In this case, we will assign you teammates. Delegates need to represent a country in the committees, but they will unite with their teammates (their delegation) in the second half of the conference - in the General Assembly. You will get the e-mail addresses of your assigned teammates in advance, so that you can contact them before the conference. If you wish to apply as a delegation (2-6 people), you need to download the "Application form for delegations", which contains an application form for all members of the delegation in that single document. Your team members will participate in the committees separately, but will unite in the second half of the conference - the General Assembly.

What type of information is required in the application form? 

1-5: Basic information. You will need to give us your name, country, city, institution and major, date of birth, e-mail address and phone number.

6,11: You need to write about previous MUN experience and motivation for participation. Write about your motivation in a maximum of 5 sentences.

7-8: Country and committee preferences: you need to choose the country you want to represent and the committee you want to participate in. Please note that you cannot represent your own country, and you cannot choose the General Assembly (GA) as your committee, since all delegates will participate in the GA. There are a number of countries to choose from: you need to take a look at our country list to see eligible countries. You can also take a look at the Committees section to find out which country is avaible in which committee.

9: Registration type: there are two types of registration, type A and type B. Registration type A: the participation fee is 25 Euros. This includes lunch during the conference and refreshments (snacks, fruits and drinks, including coffee) during the sessions. The fee also includes participation in afternoon/night activities and the goodbye party. You will also get a certificate of participation at the end of the conference. You have to pay this fee in person, upon arrival to the conference. Registration type B: the participation fee is 50 Euros. This includes everything that is provided for those with type A registration, plus accomodation. Participants will be accomodated for four nights (10-11-12-13 of April). Please note that accomodation will be provided in university dorms. These dorms do not have single rooms, nor do they have bathrooms for every room. The dorms have no curfew, but they have internet access. If you do not have accomodation in Szeged, you can either choose registration type B or find accomodation for yourself in Szeged and choose registration type A. We will provide you with information about accomodation types in Szeged if needed.

10: Special remarks: if you have any special remarks/needs, you might write them down here. These special remarks can include allergies, the need for vegetarian food, information about a wheelchair, etc. Anything that you believe we need to know.
